Cajeput belongs to the same botanical family as Tea Tree and Eucalyptus, and possesses similar antimicrobial and immune supporting properties. It’s odour is gentle compared to these oils, but this does not diminish it’s potency and qualities. Cajeput aids concentration, stimulates the mind, eases apathy, strengthens the spirit, and is especially useful during times of transition and change, particularly when creating and forging new pathways. As with other ‘tree oils’, Cajeput supports the respiratory system, aids breathing, eases cold’s, ‘flu, bronchitis, sore throats, and other respiratory tract infections, among many more qualities.
Cajeput is featured in my new book Essential Oils for Mindfulness and Meditation (publication Autumn 2018), and my next book Essential Oils For The Whole Body (2019)
